The "Bohai Self-Reliance" platform is the first marine working platform that the company has undertaken this year.
Recently, the company's production department led the ship scheduling room, the tugboat department, and the dry dock painting workshop to break the traditional routine operation mode. They pioneered a new method for relocating ships under repair. Through scientific planning, reasonable scheduling, and close cooperation, they worked hard to overcome many adverse factors such as changing weather and difficulties in berthing. They successfully and safely relocated the "Medi" and "Sona Star" simultaneously from berth 6 to berth 7. This not only saved tugboat costs but also shortened the relocation time.
The "Bohai Zili" platform is the first offshore working platform repaired by the company this year. In response to the adverse situation of insufficient practical towing experience among relevant personnel, high labor intensity, long working hours, and a shortage of manpower, the head of the production department promptly organized personnel from the general management team, ship scheduling room, tugboat department, and dry dock painting workshop. They combined dynamic information such as tides and weather to discuss the berthing and towing plan for the "platform" entering the factory multiple times, timely adjusted the scheduling management methods, formulated a specific work schedule, and detailed every step and every detail, assigning responsibilities to individuals. On the day of the operation, under the command of the pilot on duty in the factory, the tugboat and dock team employees reached the designated position. While overcoming the above difficulties, they also took effective measures to actively solve adverse factors such as the difficulty of maintaining the ship's position during towing due to tides and flow pressure, and finally succeeded in berthing and inserting the piles. At the final docking point, through a full day's preparation, they avoided the interference of tides. During the night operation of entering the dock the next day, various departments and trades worked together, bravely striving, and ultimately safely reached the dock, ensuring that the ship repair schedule proceeded as planned, maximizing the efficiency of the allocation of human resources, information resources, management resources, and the physical resources for ship repair.
"The sun always shines after the storm, and there is clear sky above the clouds." The successful berthing and pile insertion of the "Bohai Zili" and its safe entry into the dock, along with the simultaneous bundling operation of the "Medi" and "Sona Star" ships, not only received high praise from the shipowners but also greatly enhanced the operational skills and methods of the company's relevant departments' employees in berthing and pile insertion for offshore platforms, as well as bundling towing and relocation of other ships, laying a solid foundation for the company to further undertake offshore vessel repair business.
