In line with the company's actual situation and focusing on the theme of "Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows Emergency Response - Smooth Life Channels" for the safety month, CUD (Weihai) Shipyard Co., LTD. has carried out a series of activities during the twenty-third "Safety Production Month."
According to the notice from the Office of the State Council's Work Safety Committee and the Ministry of Emergency Management regarding the "2024 National Safety Production Month" activities (Safety Committee Office [2024] No. 3), and in conjunction with the actual situation of the company, focusing on the theme of "Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows Emergency Response - Smooth Life Channels," CUD (Weihai) Shipyard Co., LTD. carried out a series of activities during the 23rd "Safety Production Month."
Comprehensive deployment of Safety Production Month series activities
On May 31, the company held a mobilization meeting for Safety Month, where the chairman, general manager, and various responsible vice presidents made relevant deployments around the theme of Safety Month, focusing on improving overall safety awareness, strengthening safety training, implementing safety responsibilities, enhancing emergency drills, and fostering a safety culture.
Comprehensive safety production knowledge training
All departments (workshops) actively responded to the company's call and comprehensively carried out safety production knowledge training, popularizing safety knowledge, strengthening basic safety management, and organizing safety learning based on the current production situation of their departments. The Safety and Environmental Protection Department organized special safety education for frontline management personnel regarding the graded control and investigation of on-site safety hazards, with about 400 participants in the training; they checked whether the safety basic records of each department, workshop, and labor team were continuously operational, and whether team education and meetings were effectively conducted.
Conduct emergency rescue drills for safety accidents
To further enhance the safety awareness of company employees, the response speed and emergency handling ability in the event of sudden work-related injuries, as well as the collaborative handling ability with relevant functional departments, the company actively organized various emergency rescue drills for safety accidents.
On June 15, the Safety and Environmental Protection Department organized a drill for the emergency plan of work-related injury accidents; on June 27, the company, in conjunction with the Fire Brigade, organized a special drill for emergency evacuation due to gas leakage in the tank area; on June 26, the Production Department organized a drill for typhoon and flood prevention, further strengthening and testing the emergency management capabilities of the company's production and support systems during summer typhoons, waves, and tidal floods.
Through the various training activities during "Safety Month," the safety management skills of the main responsible persons and team leaders in each department and workshop were further improved, promoting the smooth implementation of various tasks and achieving good results. In the next step, CUD (Weihai) Shipyard Co., LTD. will take this activity as an opportunity to continue promoting safety production work, eliminate all types of safety accidents, and lay a solid foundation for the stable development of the company's production and operations.

On October 11, the 90th meeting of the Chinese ship repair company "SPCC" was successfully held in Rongcheng, Shandong. The meeting was co-hosted by SPCC Executive Chairman Li Zhengjian and Huang Guiqi, Chairman of the 90th rotating chair unit CUD (Weihai) Shipyard Co., LTD.
On August 18, the "Yangfan Minerals" vessel successfully completed all scheduled repair and installation projects at CUD (Weihai) Shipyard Co., LTD. and set sail on time.
