From June 22 to 24, 2026, Mr. Bai Liguo, CEO of CUD (Weihai) Shipyard Co., LTD., along with Project Director Mr. Claude Verhoeven and their delegation, paid a visit to CUD (Weihai) Shipyard Co., LTD. for a three-day on-site inspection and business talks.
During the visit, a delegation of Hanwha Ocean’s senior executives conducted an on-site inspection of the company’s core production facilities, including the dry dock, the quay, and the manufacturing workshops, with particular focus on the upgrade and retrofit project underway for the FSO UOTE1 “Pearl of the North.” Meanwhile, senior management from Xinhong Group and Xinhong Heavy Industry presented a detailed overview of the companies’ technological expertise in offshore equipment conversion, their project‑management achievements, and their strategic plans for the future.
During the symposium, company leaders underscored their sincere desire to deepen cooperation with Hanwha Ocean in the construction of FPSO flare towers, pipe rack modules, and living‑quarter modules. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on future collaboration models, technical standards, and implementation plans for key projects, and reached a preliminary consensus on mechanisms for coordinating follow-up work.
This visit has further strengthened mutual understanding and trust, laying a solid foundation for both sides to expand areas of cooperation, elevate the level of collaboration, and jointly usher in a new phase of mutually beneficial and win-win outcomes.
