In May, XinHong Heavy Industry posted strong performance across its entire production line. The vessels under repair exhibited three key trends: high-end sophistication, increased complexity, and greater diversity. A total of 32 ship modification and maintenance projects were advanced in parallel, including FSO offshore‑facility conversions, drilling rig overhauls and modifications, and energy‑efficiency retrofits for the container vessel “Mediterranean Antonella.” Under the company’s coordinated production management, all projects progressed smoothly; notably, the “Mediterranean Antonella” achieved a 10‑day reduction in dry‑dock time compared with similar projects last year, thanks to optimized construction processes, thereby injecting significant momentum into the company’s busy production schedule. This month, the cumulative work completed included nearly 240,000 square meters of ship rust removal, the erection of over 230,000 cubic meters of scaffolding, the replacement of more than 800 tons of steel structures, and a corresponding increase in the scope of mechanical, electrical, and piping systems work.

At the bustling yet well-organized worksite, a modest monthly production peak is being achieved, underscoring XinHong Heavy Industry’s steadily strengthening coordination capabilities and technical confidence in the high-end ship‑repair sector. Behind this performance lies the hard work of frontline employees who toil day and night, as well as the fruits of the company’s lean management and collaborative problem‑solving efforts. All XinHong Heavy Industry staff are seizing the momentum to sprint full‑throttle toward their year‑end targets.
