Recently, XinHong Heavy Industry and Dawn Group jointly held the launching ceremony for the vessel “DAWN FZ” in Renhe Town, Rongcheng City, witnessing together the magnificent transformation of this giant ship. The successful completion of this repair project not only vividly demonstrates XinHong Heavy Industry’s robust technical capabilities but also marks an important milestone in both companies’ deep engagement with the blue economy and their commitment to forging synergistic, win-win partnerships. At the ceremony, Mr. Lu Yonghuan, President of Xinfada Holdings, and Mr. Yu Xiaoning, Chairman of Daon Group, each delivered a speech. The vessel “DAWN FZ” is a 61,500-ton handy-size bulk carrier. During the repair process, the single-vessel management team fully embraced the service philosophy of “addressing shipowners’ urgent needs,” scientifically and reasonably allocating various resources—including manpower, materials, and technology—closely monitoring critical production milestones, and rigorously implementing on-site safety management measures. From carrying out meticulous painting and coating across the entire vessel to rejuvenate its exterior appearance, to completing safety-enhancing projects such as replacing hatch cover seals and performing maintenance on the crane, from advancing the repair of grab buckets and inspecting the propeller shaft to ensure the reliable operation of the propulsion system, to installing energy-saving flow-guiding devices and anti-corrosion systems—all aimed at comprehensively upgrading the vessel’s overall performance—this systematic overhaul has breathed new life into the “DAWN FZ.”
