To promote the spirit of May Fourth Movement and unite the youth, on May 4, 2025, the company organized an event for interns and trainees from universities “Xīn Shídài Hóng Qīngnián——‘Yǐ mèng wèi zhōu, bù fù sháohuá’ Themed mountain climbing team-building activity. Through climbing Mount Chá, teamwork, and experience sharing, the activity aimed to inspire the fighting spirit and innovation of young university students, helping them integrate into the company family faster and injecting youthful energy into the company's future high-quality development.

Conquering the Peak: Measuring Youth with Footsteps, Uniting Strength through Collaboration
In May, Mount Chá was lush and vibrant. Nearly 20 university students from departments such as the Electromechanical Workshop, Hull Workshop, Technology Department, and Quality Control Department formed a climbing team, supporting and moving forward together on the rugged mountain path. The tension during steep climbs, the encouragement during physical exhaustion, the cheers of success upon reaching the summit… every moment fully demonstrated the fearless courage and high degree of teamwork of Xin Hong's youth in overcoming difficulties.
This climb was not only a physical challenge but also a practical exercise in team spirit. Just as in the process of overseas ship repair, efficient cooperation among multiple departments, multiple professions, and multiple trades is required, along with efficient allocation of human, financial, material, and physical resources, supplemented by good communication, risk control, and technical support, to ensure that ships are delivered on time and to the required quality and quantity. At the summit of Mount Chá, in the pavilion, the university students exchanged ship English in groups, discussed inter-departmental cooperation, and shared repair skills, forming a good experience-sharing mechanism. They deeply understood the team strength of “1+1>2” and laid a solid foundation for future cross-departmental cooperation.

After the mountain climbing activity, the company prepared a warm gathering and exchange session for the university students. On behalf of General Manager , Minister of the Comprehensive Department, conveyed the company's sincere expectations to the Xin Hong youth:

On April 9, 2025, CUD (Weihai) Shipyard Co., LTD. and CSSC Chengxi Huarxin Special Coating (Wuxi) Co., LTD., a subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Group Corporation, officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Shi Dao, Weihai.
In early April, the company meticulously planned and simultaneously arranged for a Panamax bulk carrier, "Ruian Bay", and two Handysize bulk carriers, "African Canary" and "Dayuan Glory", to dock in No. 1 dry dock.
