On December 15, 2020, the "Tiejian Wind Power 01" vessel entered the factory for maintenance. This vessel is the fifth offshore engineering ship repaired by our company this year. "Tiejian Wind Power 01" belongs to China Railway Construction Port and Shipping Bureau Co., Ltd., with a total length of 105 meters, a width of 42 meters, and a lifting capacity of approximately 1300 tons, which is equivalent to lifting a "light frigate". It has a draft of 8.5 meters and a total leg length of 85 meters. This ship integrates functions such as self-elevating platform, self-propelled transportation, pile driving construction, lifting installation, dynamic positioning, and intelligent construction management, making it the most advanced and highest comprehensive performance offshore wind power installation vessel in China.

This time, the main repair work for "Tiejian Wind Power 01" includes: clearing the pile shoe pipeline and installing a one-way check valve, dismantling a 35-ton hoist, cleaning and repainting the bottom of the tower, and painting the buffer chamber with a water jet. The main pipeline team actively planned the construction scheme, formulated the construction plan, purchased materials in advance, and made sufficient preparations. After passing the pandemic inspection, once the vessel entered the factory, the main pipeline team promptly ensured personnel safety and quality disclosure based on the actual ship condition and repair items, arranged sufficient labor force, and made every effort to promote the repair project.

During the construction process, strict adherence to maintenance processes was enforced. The 32 flushing pipelines at the bottom of the pile shoe were cut off, and the one-way valve body was welded and installed, followed by flaw detection and painting. The flushing system pipeline was cleared from a height of 25 meters, and after the clearing was completed, the valve core was installed, and water was added to the buffer chamber for flushing system testing.

With the joint efforts and close cooperation of all departments, the "Tiejian Wind Power 01" vessel set sail from the anchorage on the afternoon of January 3. The maintenance of the "Tiejian Wind Power 01" vessel is unconventional, with high requirements for the construction environment and welding processes, which has accumulated rich maintenance experience for the repair of similar vessels in the future.
