On September 30, 2023, with the sound of firecrackers bidding farewell, the Panama-flagged "Anxin" vessel slowly departed from the Xinhong Heavy Industry dock, successfully completing all repair and modification projects and setting sail smoothly.

        The "Anxin" is a 5000 CEU car roll-on/roll-off ship, measuring 200 meters in length and 32 meters in width. The main repair work involved fire damage repairs to the car deck. In June of this year, after receiving the repair agreement for the vessel, the company's senior management attached great importance to it, immediately organizing a professional technical inspection team to conduct an on-site inspection at the vessel's docking location in Port Bintan, Malaysia. Based on the actual situation of over 600 tons of steel structure replacement in the burned cargo hold area, approximately 150,000 square meters of water-jet painting on various car deck levels, over 24,800 meters of new cable installation, over 2,000 meters of hydraulic pipe replacement, and over 600 new light fixtures, the inspection team continuously discussed and optimized the plan with the shipowner's company, formulating a scientific and reasonable repair plan and construction service scheme, which won the favor of the shipowner, thus successfully starting the journey of the vessel's repair at the company.

        After receiving the repair task for the vessel, the company's production department faced the challenge of undertaking fire damage repairs for this complex ship type for the first time. They quickly established a single-vessel management project team, proactively engaged with the shipowner stationed at the yard, refined the work processes, and solidified the construction plan, laying a good foundation for the smooth progress of the repair project.

        During the ship repair period, to ensure the orderly advancement of project quality and progress, the single-vessel management project team quickly carried out construction operations around the main line project, actively and reasonably allocating human, material, and technical resources to maximize the efficiency of production resource allocation. In addition, they strictly implemented the DNV quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental management system, providing solid quality, safety, and environmental management guarantees for the shipowner. They also diligently implemented each construction node according to the construction plan, striving to overcome various difficulties such as labor shortages, high modification difficulty, complex processes, and unfavorable material handling. They consistently adhered to the production goals of "controlling dock time, ensuring quality, and expediting delivery." With the hard work of all participants and the careful organization and on-site control of the single-vessel management project team, the repair tasks for the "Anxin" vessel's decks (NO.6/7/8/9/10) and cargo holds (NO.3/4) were completed with quality and quantity, earning unanimous praise from the shipowner and ship inspection.

        The successful delivery of the fire damage repair project for the "Anxin" vessel's car deck adds a significant highlight to the friendly cooperation between the company and DORIKO LTD.
