In addition to maintaining a high number of ships under repair, the complexity of repair projects and the prevalence of large-scale vessels have become new highlights. In the face of peak production, Xinhong Heavy Industry is fully promoting the improvement of production efficiency and management capabilities, optimizing product structure, and focusing on dock time and ship schedules in production management to improve turnover rates. They are scientifically arranging production plans, coordinating repair projects comprehensively, and requiring each project to "plan early and prepare early" in terms of planning, production preparation, and safety assurance, orderly arranging various production tasks.
Taking the repair of the VLCC "Atlantis" from CAPITAL Shipping Company as an example, this project involves many engineering points and a wide range of tasks, including desulfurization modifications, ballast water treatment system upgrades, and conventional repair projects. The general management team holds regular project meetings to track the progress of various projects, finely arranging the control of cross-operation and process connections, ensuring that all production tasks are completed on schedule.
It is expected that in early to mid-May, the total volume of ship repairs will remain at a high operating level. All departments of Xinhong Heavy Industry will strengthen management efforts, seize this peak repair period, scientifically plan various tasks, and orderly carry out repair and modification projects, carefully maintaining every shipowner in the yard to lay a solid foundation for successfully completing the annual ship repair task targets.
