To enhance the repair capabilities of LNG vessels, further preparations for exploring high value-added markets are being made. Recently, CUD (Weihai) Shipyard Co., LTD. specially invited two experts to conduct specialized training on LNG vessel repair knowledge. Due to the impact of the pandemic, this training was conducted both online and offline. Approximately 70 people from various departments, including workshops, business department, technical department, quality management department, and safety system's environmental protection department, participated in this two-day skills enhancement training.
Before the training, the teaching experts communicated with the company's leaders in charge, taking into account the actual production and operation situation of the company, and focused on developing practical courses around safety control and quality control in LNG vessel repair projects. During the training, the experts explained theoretical knowledge based on their LNG vessel repair experience, shared relevant practical cases, and engaged in ample communication and interaction with the trainees.
Through this training, employees from the production, business, and safety system departments gained a deeper understanding of the basic theoretical knowledge related to LNG vessel repair, as well as key points for safety control and quality control in future production processes, laying a solid foundation for the company to expand related high value-added vessel repair business.
